Second Lhaviyani Scout Group is the longest running co-curricular activity in Lh.Atoll Education Centre, the only school located in Hinnavaru. It was registered on 29th June 1987 as 31st Male’ with 36 Cub Scouts, 40 Scouts 1 Cub Leader and 2 Scout Leaders.

We hope to provide you with the up-to-date information on the Group Events and how we are working to improve the group.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY LHAVIYANI ATOLL EDUCATION CENTRE

This year marks the 28th anniversary of Lhaviyani Atoll Education Centre. We hope that 2012 will be marked by a series of events.

Second Lhaviyani Scout Group wishes all the Students, Teachers and Parents a very Happy Anniversary during this momentous year. We hope to see the celebrations of Lhaviyani Atoll Education Centre’s 28th Anniversary with various initiatives inside and outside of school.

Its foundation was laid on 4th June 1981, Thursday (1 Shaubaan 1400) by Lh. Atoll Chief Mr. Ismail Rasheed . It was officially opened by the Hon. Minister of Health Mr. Abdullah Jameel on 10th March 1984, Saturday (7 Jumaadhul Aakhiraa 1404)
